Tctv were delighted today to meet Elizabeth Mitchell, the producer of Bro' Town. She came to St. Pius school to talk to the students there and from other schools in the area about the process they go through to create an episode of the top New Zealand show.
Two of our Year 12 students, Mikaira and Francis, were at the talk and they found it very interesting to hear how Bro' Town was started and how they created the characters for the show. We saw videos of how an episode was put together and we were delighted to see a special video from Oscar Knightley with a message for the students.
Highlights included :- seeing how they used photographs of the actors to help develop how the characters looked, seeing early versions of the characters and how they have changed and seeing how they get from their initial ideas through to the final episodes.
Wow! What a great time you all must've had. I like watching Bro Town it's very funny. We look to forward to seeing more of your work. Keep it up.
