Earlier this year I shared my mihi publicly with friends and colleagues for the first time. I was very nervous! Watching your video I realise there is no need to be ;-). A wonderful celebration of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori
I am so proud to be associated with Maori culture by my privileged status as a pakeha in beautiful Aotearoa. It makes me sad to hear some people being negative about Maori language week. It is a great idea and an opportunity for us all to learn and celebrate part of our unique Kiwi culture :-) Kia kaha TCTV!
